THE GLOBAL WARMING SWINDLE

This video documentary is a powerful antidote to Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth. Broadcast over Great Britain’s public service TV station early in 2007, it deconstructs the myth that Global Warming is caused by human activity. World-class scientists, many of whom are credentialed professors in their fields, state flatly that global warming is caused by solar activity, and that similar cycles have occurred many times throughout history. As sun-spot activity increases, Earth temperatures rise; and, as sun-spot activity wanes, they drop. Solar activity now is greater than normal, so higher Earth temperatures are to be expected. For the same reason, temperatures also are rising on other planets in our Solar System, a phenomenon that hardly can be blamed on humans. In previous years when industrialization was increasing at its greatest rate, temperatures actually went down.

The producers did an excellent job of laying out the scientific facts but they stopped short of answering the question WHY the myth of man-made global warming has been promoted. They show that there is an endless flow of tax dollars from governments to support global warming research; they show that many scientists follow the money knowing that, if they want funding, they must support the global warming myth; but they do not explain why this bias came to be.

If you understand the present reality of global collectivism in which all governments are expanding at warp speed toward total control over their citizens, this phenomenon will be understandable. You will recognize the ploy to frighten us with a long list of threats to personal security to condition us to accept expansion of government as reasonable and even necessary for protection. Governments have perfected the art of exaggerating and, in some cases, even encouraging the forces of crime, pornography, illicit drugs, terrorism, killer diseases, and – yes – environmental apocalypse. Why? Because all of this justifies an endless stream of laws that increase the power of those who rule, laws that are offered under the pretext of protecting us from harm. If the threat seems great enough, we are expected to meekly, even gratefully, accept the chains of our enslavement.

That is the part missing from this documentary. To be fair, however, it must be said that, if the producers had included this message, the program never would have been aired by a TV channel that is funded by the British government. In any event, the scientific truth now is available in DVD format, and it will be increasingly difficult to ignore.
